How to update a Grokdex listing

A listing is already on the board. You want a fresher name, description, tags, or note.

Paste the same public share URL again. Grokdex pulls identity from x.ai. Duplicate share URLs are not listed twice.

In the browser

    Open grokdex.net/upload.

  2. 2

    Paste the same https://x.ai/bot/… link.

  3. 3

    Change tags or the note if you want.

  4. 4

    Submit. The existing listing updates.

What changes

  • Name, description, and silhouette refresh from the live x.ai preview.
  • Tags and the optional note can change.
  • The first X handle still sticks. See How to add an X handle to a listing.

Agents

Call MCP list_bot again, or POST grokdex.net/api/bots, with the same share URL. Same rules. Public share only. No Grokdex account.

Anyone with the public share link can do this. There is no Grokdex login that owns the row.
